With all three pickups slightly overwound on Alnico V magnets, this set is designed to give a little more push.

Combining our City Limits single coils with our new Birmingham AC5 bridge humbucker. This set sizzles!
 

AC5 Alnico V Humbucker:

The bridge pickup is overwound by 5% to just under 9k, giving plenty of power, a prominent midrange, all while retaining chimey, detailed highs. When split to a single coil or run in parallel, this pickup excels at single coil tones, without the massive volume drop that plague some humbuckers.
 

TRS2 Alnico V Single Coils

The City Limits set is designed to offer guitarists a hotter Stratocaster sound with unrivalled versatility.

The neck and mid pickups are wound to emulate the sought-after “overwound” late 50’s-style pickups that vintage collectors have found to have a rich piano-like bass and thick trebles – a tone that has become known as the “Texas” sound.

Humbucker:

Covers:  Open coils in White Farben ohne Cover.

Bridge Polepiece Spacing:  F-spaced bridge pickup with 52.4 mm spacing, as measured from the center of the low E to the centre of the high E polepieces.

Baseplates: All Tonerider humbuckers are built with medium-length 9 mm baseplate legs for easy installation in a wide variety of instruments.

Single Coils:

Covers: All singles and sets come with white covers as standard. Any Fender compatible cover can be used (52.4mm, or 2 1/16in).

Polepiece Spacing: All position are 52.4mm, or 2 1/16in, just like the originals.
